Thy Kingdom Come Ministries
Update: March 15, 2017
Clayton Earl Sonmore
April 17, 1924 – March 13, 2017
Absent from the body, present with the Lord.
We would like you to know that our father, Clayt Sonmore, has gone home to his blessed Lord and Saviour on Monday afternoon, March 13, 2017. He joins the Great Cloud of Witnesses. We praise God for his life and dedication to God’s call, and the thousands of lives that were touched through his ministry and writings over the years.
We thank God for our dad, a wonderful husband, father, provider, businessman and most importantly, a man of God. He answered the call of God on his life, has finished his course, kept the faith and has now entered his reward. We are so very thankful to God for his life and the example and legacy that he leaves. Our whole family thanks you for your prayers, love and support to our father over the years.
We have set up a Memorial blogsite at http://claytsonmorememorial.blogspot.com. You may add your condolences or memories to this Memorial blog by sending an email to: email@example.com
God’s many blessings,
The Sonmore Family
Thy Kingdom Come Ministries (founded in 1979) is dedicated to the presentation of Ezekiel's "Show the House [as God meant it to be] to the House, [which man has built as a replacement for the true House]." (Ezekiel 43:10-11)
Clayt Sonmore, a Christian businessman, operated Becky's Cafeteria in Minneapolis, Minnesota, from 1949-1986. For the last 30 of their 37 years in business (1949-1986), both Duncan Hines and AAA Travel Books stated, "This is the most unique cafeteria in our nation."
Together with Demos Shakarian and 13 others, he was one of the original founders of the Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship International, pioneered in 1952 and 1953. Sonmore served as Vice President and Director of that organization until his resignation in 1964. Starting in 1953, he ministered extensively in the US, Canada, Africa, Central America and 17 trips to South America alone.
William Branham, Tommy Hicks, George Warnock, Bill Britton and Leonard Ravenhill, along with many others who were integral to the 1948-1956 "Latter Rain Movement," were among his closest friends and associates in mutual ministry.
From his understanding of Ezekiel 43:10-11, and as one who is contending to become a "son of Zadok," Sonmore wrote Beyond Pentecost, None Dare Call It Deception and five other books. All seven published books are profiled on this website.
It is with this in mind that the viewer is invited to enter into this discussion with an open heart towards the Lord and His Word, expecting to receive spiritual instruction on a different level than that of the average Christian writing.
